Construction of the guesthouses (ADOBE and BAMBOO)

When constructing our clay houses, we started with the foundation, we chose a concrete foundation with steel. After laying the pipes underground the foundation can be poured and soon the floor can be sanded.

In the meanwhile, the bamboo is treated and dried and the Adobe bricks are made and sundried. The bamboo poles and roof construction are not attached to the clay walls of the house, so either the roof installation or the masonry can be done first. The lower 40 cm of the walls are made from fired bricks, after that the adobe wall starts. After the installation of the bamboo structure a metal roof is attached. Electric pipes are put inside the walls before the plastering. Windows and doors can be installed and the bamboo terrace and kitchen corner finished.
